The original room they put me in was very nice so there was no disappointment there. They were honest and straightforward about the fact that they were overbooked (10 years+ in the Hotel industry, prepared me for this) and that their Supervisor Sean would be able to resolve it the next day. I had reserved a King Deluxe room and the Front Desk explained that they didn't have that room type immediately available. Getting into the car and driving out into the Country suddenly unfroze my brain and I was pleasantly surprised at the immediately welcoming spirit of the Little River Casino Resort just outside of Manistee. I recently decided to go on a getaway week away after being pretty much home bound outside of Chicago.
